jesus, that's really hard.
I guess I'd have to say either Rolf the dog, Scooter, or the guy in the Dr. Teeth band that plays the saxophone. And Kermit. But, everyone loves Kermit.

SWEDISH CHEF!!!!

Jim Henson graduated from my university, and there's a statue of him and Kermit outside our Student Union, and everyone pretends to talk to him in pictures. Like here. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/QueenAdrock1/friends/DSCF1444.jpg)

Little known fact: Jim Henson created the major puppeteering at UMD and created Kermit out of the theater's curtains.

OK, if you want to get obscure, I like the Snake from the Riverbottom Nightmare Band too. Put that in your pipe, Waldorf.

then gonzo!
Then those 2 dudes that sit in the special seats at the opera and make quirky comments.

''Boo'', ''Booooh'', ''That was the worst thing I ever heard'',''it was terrible'', ''horrendus'' ''well it wasn't that bad'' ''oh yeah?'' ''there were parts of it I liked it'' ''yeah I liked a lot of it'' ''yeah it was good'' ''it was great!'' ''it was wonderful'' ''bravo'' ''more'', ''more'', ''more'', ''moooore''...

Yeah, I watch too much tv.

Man, I need to see the Muppet Show again. My dad used to put it on every night at 7:30, right after the Twilight Zone. They used to play reruns of each but now neither are on. :(

Is Oscar the Grouch a muppet or just a puppet?

I think he is a muppet so he is my favorite.
He is pissed all the time and he lives in a trash can. He teaches kids that life is more than learning their ABCs and getting along with others. You can be a loner and hate others for the fuck of it all.

yeah this has gotta be an alias of someone over the age of 30 considering The Muppet Show was off the air in the early ass 80s.

Sesame Street is part of the muppet family. Big bird is in the orignal muppet movie after all. So yes Oscar counts. and I hate to say it, but so do those damn Fraggels.

I may be the only person in this thread who owns the first season on DVD complete with fake kermit fuzz on the cover

I highly enjoy sam the eagle and zoot the saxophone player

the best reoccuring bit on that show was the couples in the ballroom dancefloor with their little mini comic/straight guy routines

....and don't forget about the HIV postive muppet named Kami. He either contracted the disease from Oscars dirty needles or that homo Big Bird.
