I asked my Mum that, she just said nahh, not really. And then when I said what would have I got called if I was boy? She just said my bro's name. But I think she just made that up on the spot. He was born 6 years after me.

if I had a boy i'd name him socrates
and if i had a girl i'd name her aphrodite (the e with the hyphen thingy)
But I"m glad I wasn't called them.
That would have really sucked during my teen years.

Victoria
Louise

I am kind of glad they picked Crystal. Or rather, let my Grandmother pick Crystal, despite the fact it was because of Dynasty. Especially glad they picked it over Louise.

I was gonna have the same name, girl or boy. and my mom gave me her middle name. I was a miracle surprise baby, so she didn't really have a lifelong dream name for me. although when she was a little girl, she wished for a baby with dark hair and freckles. AND THE WISH CAME TRUE. MAGIC.

my dad wanted to name me Giacomo after Giacomo Agostini the great motorbike rider. i would've hated it in my early years, but from 15 onwards i would've liked it coz i could've said i was named after Giacomo Casanova

danielle.

but my dad's name is daniel so that could get confusing because they kinda sound alike :/

especially if you get into nicknames, because most of his friends call him danny, so if people had started calling me dani...i'd slap 'em. pwaha

dana works for me.

When I was up until about 2 years old my parents called me by my third name (which I really like, in my early teens I made my friends call me with that name), or rather a shortening of it (which I really don't like), even my christening silver spoon has that name engraved, but then my grandma said I should be called with my first name, as it's my first name and I've never liked it. Now it's a bit funny cause it's also a tree and I'm a gardener...

My parents never really spoke of other girls names. My mother just heard my name somewhere before and she liked it, as did her cousin. So they made a deal that the first one to have a girl could use the name, and my mom's cousin got pregnant, but she had a boy. Haha.
And I know that if I had been a boy my name would've been Thomas. Like my grandfather.

my mom wanted to name me amanda because my sister and older brother (r.i.p.) both had names starting with a "b." but my dad didn't really like that idea, so they compromised with elizabeth (my grandmother's middle name) and then called me beth.
