Michael was actually ON his medication at the time. Sometimes the meds makes it worse. A lot of the nature of the disease is still unknown. Thus needing more research. Duh.

I thoroughly enjoyed that book. One of my favorite parts is when him and his family move to that army base and he takes a stroll to the candy store.

it could be that or millions of other reasons why these things happen. without the research, we'll never find out. im quite proud of michael j fox and the way he's decided to respond to this. and in a way, rush did a really good thing, he put the issue on everyone's minds and made it a relevant election issue.

much like every other issue, there NEEDS to be a lot of knowledge about it and respect of both points of views. and hopefully, one day soon, research :)
