who is single and dates ALOT. The first few weeks or so with every guy are always the same....everything's perfect and lovey dovey. Then all of a sudden the dude bails on her. It's probably happened at least 20 times in the past couple years. So I just fixed her up with a friend of mine, and same thing. Everything was great for say, 3 weeks. He told me how much he liked her and he seemed really geniune about it. Well she calls me up today and says he's acting weird and making lame excuses to cancel plans they've made, etc. and it's really not like him to do that. I'm going to call him tonight and finally find out what the deal is with her and he's not the type that will sugar-coat anything. I feel like I'm about to find out who shot JR

My guess would be that she turns into a clingy psycho after a few weeks and starts talking about what their children would look like. That's usualyl the only reason I would break it off after a few weeks. I would also like to ask that you should probablyl stay out of it. Hooking up one friend with another was a mistake from the start. But since you did it that should be the last of your involvement in the matter. Trust me you don't want to get caught in the middle of that mess. Meanwhile...did I miss the posting of the pic? I'm looking to re-locate next fall and start a family.

...that's the sort of thing I'm thinking. Three weeks is a general amount of time to let things drift off if there are no sparks, but if she's getting abruptly DUMPED in three weeks, it's probably because she's starting to feel like it's time to move in and the guy is feeling not just crowded but actually threatened by whatever she's doing.

One possibility, anyway.
