Well, knowing you have a problem is the first step.
American History X is amazing, a must-see. Watch that first.
For a few years now, I've been working my way through the AFI top 100 movies of all time. The #1 is Citizen Kane, and I decided to save it for last. Everyone tells me that I'll be disappointed, though. Didn't see it on your list, did you like it?

i too came in here to post citizen kane. i torrented it (oh sue me, i'm not spending $27 on it, what a rip) and it's been sitting on my computer for a while, but i haven't watched it yet. i once fell asleep in the middle of it, but that doesn't count. then at the end, my roommate (i was watching it with my roommate) says "so wait, what's rosebud?" and i wake up and go "it was his sled from when he was a kid" because everyone knows that by now

It's a SLED???
Just kidding. A friend gave me a copy about five years ago and it's been collecting dust ever since. I'm down to the really random stuff on the list (All Quiet of the Western Front from like 1935, a bunch of Charlie Chaplin) and I've kinda run out of steam. I feel like such a quitter.

i have "1000 movies you must see before you die" and have ticked off all the ones i've seen. i would tell you how many that figure is but the book's at home. it's certainly not even 50%. but my degree did put my in good stead to see a lot of good isht.
HOWEVUH, i think the most "classic" of movies i have not seen is gone with the wind.

They don't make a movie as good as 12 Angry Men, Vertigo or The Big Sleep nowadays.

I cannot believe youve never seen Star Wars.
Also, Resevoir Dogs deserves at least a 7/10. A 0/10 seems kinda like you didn't watch/understand the movie.

Star Wars! Star Wars is love :( just don't bother with I, II, or III. Stick to IV, V, and VI.

It's a lot to do, I know. To sit down and watch 12 hours of movie. It's kind of like LOTR is now; virtually unwatchable due to the extreme length.

i wouldnt say best movie ever, it was ok, great actors of course, a bit outstanding but it could never become one of my favorite movies, dont feel the need to watch it a second time
reservior dogs was one of the worst movies ive ever seen
if you take out the good actors and the brutal shit then theres nothing left
and i hate brutal movies, i think i even prefer scarface over that one
ring the "horror" movie was ok to watch but not very different from other soft cake horror movies
