I was surprised when he did the songs he did. I expected two songs off The Information. Instead we got one from Guerolito....and it might be the best track on that album. And I liked the more "rock" version of Nausea.
Plus he broke into a little "One Foot In The Grave" in the middle of Guerolito with the harmonica. Very cool.

i only saw clap hands
i don't know anything about Beck i've never heard his music before except maybe 1 song
usually on SNL the artist loses my attention in 20 seconds but Beck had my eyes & ears glued to the T.V for the whole performence(y)

Yep,I think it's one of the best musical performances in the 35 year history of the show,no exaggeration....
Mellow Gold
Odelay
Midnight Vultures
Guerolito (and the remix)
The Information
I love them all!.....his live show is superb....I never thought I could love a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” as much as I have at his shows....
I find that Mutations and Sea Change are only recommended to the aficionado's,very mellow.....

I was loving the one foot in the grave “dub”!! I read Guerolito and The Information were recorded simultaneously…..it was nice to have one from each, that band is so tight!

I saw the Clap Hands thing a year ago on tour. I loved it at the time and I know the critics wrote about it a lot, but I'm a bit surprised that Beck is still doing it. It's less cool the second time.
How is Beck handling the puppets on tour? I can't imagine how that works unless he has a big screen.
(P.S. Beck needs to lose the dancing guy)
I agree, that dancing guy is highly annoying.
I didn't see Beck on the last tour so I missed that version of Clap Hands. I thought it was great! (as was Nausea)...
