A Few days ago I started listenin' again to Hello Nasty (it was ages that i did not, for many painful reasons)... and damn! I just can't stop...I guess that anyother inhabitant of my same building begin to puke everytime I switch on my radio (of course I MUST pump the volume....all the times)...
another problem is that if I don't let the CD play while I'm in bed, ready to sleep....I DON'T FALL ASLEEP!!!!
Yesterday i tryed to change the cd...I put "The Insound From WayOut" (the "sleepin' cd" of the last 3 months) and......no way! NO WAY! i couldn't sleep.... then i put on Hello Nasty again.... and I did not succeeed to hear "Remote Control"....
Di I have to be worried?

I've been listening to hello nasty alot recently as well. I like the sp12 beats instead of the laptop beats on tt5b..(which are still good, but its not "nasty")

I love listening to body movin especially the drum sequences before the last verses ......mca where have you been?!

Also "putting shame in your game" is one of my favs.....

Goddamn that "CD" made my day..........day.....day day

hello nasty is absolutely a great album, for me it ties with pauls boutique for 1st. i love all the layers and sounds they use, and the instrumentals and bossa nova type stuff are great to throw in there too.

i love that album.

hello nasty and paul's boutique are probably the two albums i can listen to the most over and over again

while i like tracks on the other albums more, as an overall album to have on while i'm working, cleaning, whatever, its def. number one or two for me :)

oh just read post above me... coincidental!

puttin shame in yo game is undoubtedly their phattest beat , totally underrated song, that whole album may be the most 'FUTUREISTIC" album released to date. Justin timberlake was talking crap about how he was trying to make futuristic music and stuff and tho his new stuff does sound a bit like that, the beasties already did it in 98 with this album WOOORD

I moved to Manhattan 2 weeks after this CD was released. When I listen to it now it brings back great, great memories.

Anyway i think that the song that I like "the most" (if I have to choose one) is "The Move"... it makes me crazy!

In my mind, Hello Nasty is a classic, but I think the general public won't fully appreciate it, for another 10 or 15 years. It's one of those kind of albums. Paul's Boutique was the same way; it wasn't hugely popular when it first came out, but over time, people came to love it and see how innovative it was. There's just so many cool and interesting songs on Hello Nasty. It might be my favorite Beasties album.

Putting shame in your game is definately cooler than cool!

To quote Mike D: "I get so hyped when I hear this song"
