Anyone ever been to one? Plan to go to one this Tuesday?

My brother and I will be hosting one at my condo. We're gonna take shots everytime a Democrat picks up a Republican seat. And maybe we'll put on pundit shows and take a shot everytime we hear "Iraq" or "Mark Foley" or the like. Depends on how drunk we wanna get. And we'll top off the night with champagne.

Hey, D_Raay, how far down in VA do you live? If it's northern VA, you should probably come up and visit us. It'll be fun. :)

Exactly. I wrote on the invitation, let's get drunk in celebration of winning! And if we lose, let's drink to drown our sorrows! It's a win-win situation.(y)

I will make an appearance at a few parties and then hit the big one and stay as late as I can. I don't expect to see many acceptance or concession speeches while I'm there. The races are too tight. Hopefully there will be a few early blowouts in other states' races and we can at least watch Katherine Harris concede on TV.

I have been invited to way too many victory parties. I feel bad for the local politicians who have to host them. The statewide party ones at hotels are fine, but it feels icky being invited to someone's home when I don't know or like the guy.
