I could have walked around in shorts and a tshirt tonight because the winds were so warm, whereas last night I was bundled up in 4 layers

BC gets chinooks? Brett said Edmonton doesn't get that stuff, which really sucks for him.

My friend got them when she lived in North Dakota. Said it was winter one day, spring the next, and everything got flooded and fucked up. That would suck, but the whole springtime in winter thing would be pretty feckin sweet.

I call any warm wind a chinook, not sure if Im being erroneous by doing so

yeah, edmonton is a bit far north to get them all that often I suppose
I know my relatives get them and they are just east of edmonton so perhaps they just skip the big city

There is such a thing as chinooks in Edmonton, it's just rare. Stupid Calgary and mountain regions
