So I was having one of those bored myspace moments the other night and I was randomly looking up people I used to know. I found my high school girlfriend's page and I guess she just got married and is all happy and stuff. That is fine and dandy but she is married to the dude she started dating after me and this was like almost 7 years ago.

I always knew she was super loyal like that or whatever and it makes me wonder what mighta happened if I hadn't screwed it up. Even bigger than that is the fact that I"m not even close to getting married. I mean I almost did back in June but now I'm back to square one. Ugh I"m going to become an old maid.

Me too. Old, alone and mysteriously smelling of cat piss. Even though I don't have cats.

Children will throw things at me:(

As long as you can answer my questions, you'll be fine.

But seriously, chin up dude. You'll be right. (y)

Yeah man I mean I guess I can't say that I regret the path I've gone down. I mean I've been all over the world and done/seen some really cool shit. It's just funny how all the people who never really left home are are working "normal" jobs, getting married, and having babies. Plus it does kind of burn me that it's the dude she started seeing like right after me...

Course that sucks, but then this guy didn't get to check out the 31 flavors, you know?
And then there is the people that end up in this situation at the age of 19! (n)

It's advice I struggle with myself, sometimes, but never look at what the next man is doing.

Yeah I know but it's so weird it's like I'm the last pre-season game for women before the regular season starts (maybe a bad analogy) But seriously it's like right after a girl dates me they always seem to get another serious boyfriend right away.

- First serious girlfriend- as mentioned above now married to dude dated right after me

- Second serious girl - got married to a dude like a month after we broke up (since divorced)

- Third seriour girl - Started dating dude right after me, they moved back to OH together and are engaged

- Ex-fiance - after our "wedding" crashed and burned in June moved in with a guy in September she had been seening since March...

Yeah, it seems like people either stay stationary and settle down or they go out and see the world. I hope to have a balance between the two, to settle down and then travel with my husband.

No regrets though, Lopp. There's always the "what if's" but I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. I don't really believe in fate, but I do believe there's a rhyme and reason to everything. Ex boyfriend broke up with me and totally shattered my heart. Now I realize that happened in order for me to find someone else, someone who I can actually have a future with, as opposed to an up-in-the-air "Umm, well, maybe." I also don't believe there's some power out there that's forcing this to happen, it just naturally occurs. Like the theory "For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction."

Anyways, hope my inane bullshit helped you out. (y)

I found out that my first love is now engaged just the other week

It didnt really make me sad because its almost impossible to have gotten any sadder than I already was at the time

MySpace is evil like that. How I found out a lot of shit on my ex... Well, I got the PROOF.

Actually, no. Thank you, MySpace. I'd kiss Tom's feet if possible.
