I've only seen part of it too, and so far, so good. You should definitely put it on the box. I got tired at around 9:30 so I turned it off right after the scene with the professor. Mine didn't lock up completely, but it did skip a little and have some digital blocks splash across the screen for a few seconds before it went back to normal.

wouldn't it be easier for you to get a directors account on youtube or start a torrent with a dvix version? That's if you really want exposure and true criticism. I've spent the past 8 months editing and re-editing this flick since it was finished in March, based off several screenings and tons of feedback. I'm certainly not sending these to board members to get actual criticism. It's just fun to mail shit to people I don't know. Seriously.

And no one should worry about hurting my feelings. I'd last about .0001 seconds as a filmmaker (or artist of any kind) if I couldn't handle someone telling me that my third film ever sucks. It won't change the amount of pride I have for it.

yeah, I can see how by not having seen a single frame, you can conclude that it sucks. The reality is that it's awesome and I'm looking forward to it hopefully playing SXSW in March. And if it doesn't, then I'll make a better one.

I'm also not an idiot. It's an independent film made on less than $10,000 and it's specifically about film school. I wasn't expecting people to be like "OMG THIS MOVIE CHANGED MY LIFE"

Frankly, I feel dumb for even having this conversation with you. Though I was waiting for someone to start it.

Fact is, when I do hit it big, everyone who has a copy now has one hell of a collector's item. And THAT you can print.

we had to skip over the chapter with the professor because it would cut out every time about 15 seconds into that part, so i don't know what the problem was there

sucks that chapter is all fucked up, I think it might be the best scene in the movie. that and, without seeing it, the ending with the Dean sort of makes no sense.
