i actually think bush has covered his tracks (with shit, but covered nonetheless). i doubt he'd be impeached.

Its not like he cheated on his wife. Shesh.
Iraq is Bush's Monica. Let him stew for two more years with nothing but pressure from the Dems to get all of the dirty laundry exposed. And if we are lucky, maybe the Republicans will get some of the dems laundry out to and make things a bit cleaner for awhile.
Echewta, have you been listening to your Don Henley records again?

Well, we haven't officially taken the Senate yet. We're still waiting for Allen to concede and I have the feeling he's getting a LOT of pressure for a recount by the Republicans. He may have to pay for it out of his own pocket. But I'm thinking we have it, either way.
You need some kind of solid evidence for impeachment, they got Clinton on "lying under oath." Sooo, if we have something that he's done that breaks the law (not just stuff like "He mislead us to war!" because well, it was voted on and all of that and it doesn't really stand up for impeachment).
What specific thing could he be impeached for? Examples?

just two more years.
Two more miserable years, where Bush won't be able to shove around his agenda in Congress like he has been.

It's not happening. It's just a dream.

No chance. The democrats aren't that stupid.
It's sad because what they can do is hold hearings and do some oversight. For things like all the money that was thrown away on no-bid contracts to companies with republican ties, it's much too late to do anything other than expose the graft in hopes that it doesn't happen again.

It won't happen, but I'd like to see the hearings anyway:

Pelosi said she would be “the speaker of the House, not the speaker of the Democrats,” Democrats will aggressively conduct oversight of the administration, she added, but that any talk of impeachment of President Bush “is off the table.”
