that happened to me here in chicago while I was at a party. went out to my car at 3 a.m. and it was gone.

I also got my car towed for parking near wrigley field during a night game without a permit. that time they just moved it somewhere though, so it wasn't too awful.

the last time they towed it because someone stole my tire and they scooped it up while I was at work. I just let em have it that time. I was gonna donate it to PBS, but oh well.

It's now been about 2 months, and my car has already been broken into. :mad:

I noticed when I looked out the window before I went outside to leave for work that the trunk was open. I was all like, "Huh...That's odd..." knowing perfectly well that that's what had happened, but trying to deny it. But then when I got out there, I saw that one of my back windows had been completely smashed in. My cd player/stereo and a bunch of my cd's were stolen. Thank god the useless fucks who did it didn't take the boxes of books that were in the trunk, which collectively are probably worth more than everything else they stole.

This is my first official week at my new job, and I had to call out today. :(

Yeah, that's pretty shitty. You know, a lady who's a patient of the dentist I work for had her car broken into and her purse stolen. In her purse was her social security card, passport, all her credit cards, debit card, cash, wallet, pictures, sunglasses, cell phone, everything. When I asked her what all that shit was doing in her purse, and why her purse was in her car in plain view, she said "That's where I ALWAYS keep it!" And she always keeps that shit in her purse too.

I was in shock. She was in shock too, cuz she had NO IDEA anything like that would ever happen.
