i get competitive with people on the street, i hate it when someone cuts me off and walks right in front of me. i always have to walk around and pass them afterwards. how dare they! (im a dick)

with actual competition - sports, video games, board games, etc - I am real competitive, probably the most competitive person I know. but with other everyday stuff, definitely not, that's just juvenile.

one time I lost an arm-wrestling match because my elbow was spasming and I wanted to wait a minute, but nobody would believe me and I got really mad and challenged the person to a left-armed match. and won.

I compete with people on the road all the time. I don't get too carried away though.

i may not show it [becuase i tend to be stand offish], but i am competitive
very very competitive on the sports field...
that's really the only place where i show it and get all fired up and shit

heh i do that, except when i pass them, i move back into their "lane" as soon as i can, so they can SEE how much they got in my way.

i used to be competitive. now i'm just lazy.

i am, like, super competitive on board / computer games. and poker. stuff like that. not day to day stuff. infact, when i was moaning about a poker game to my boyfriend last week he said "see claire, that competitive streak of yours? best not to list it as as one of your qualities and attributes the next c.v you make up"

what i hate most is when i buy a game and then someone else steals it and hogs it for way more hours than me, hence mastering all the moves/controls what not, and totally thrashing my ass. also when they advance more than i have in a game because i, you know, work and what not. i hate that! i want to discover all the wee cool things by myself. this was worse during the zelda: wind waker era where me, my boyfriend and my flatmate scott were like an evil triumvirate of obsessive computer gamers - sneaking into rooms at 4am to steal the gamecube, pretending we haven't defeated the dungeon after the last person, that sort of shit. in the end we still ended up getting as much enjoyment even watching one person playing it we stopped being so precious.

I'm not competitive about smack-talk stuff, because that's all too hollow for me. Otherwise, yeah -- pretty competitive. I'm a good loser if I have to be, but in social settings where it's really wrong -- like one-upping other people's stories and stuff -- yeah: too competitive. I try to cut it out if I can stop myself in time.

in general I'm not really competitive. The only time it comes out is if I'm playing video games I guess, it's fun to smack talk, especially multi-player anything.
