Normally I use the quick edit so it doesn't even appear.

I tend to correct spelling and grammatical errors. I should review my post before clicking the submit reply button. I don't mind correcting my posts because I enjoy the advanced edit feature that the BBMB provides.
My reasons for editing are...Rickets--Gout--Scurvy (as Freebasser noted).
Oh, Zorra, I think there is a time limit on editing a post. Sometimes, I see a spelling error in one of my older posts. Because of my OCD and general anal retentative qualities I attempt to edit......but the quote button is the only option. I guess I could quote myself.....then correct the post---and edit. This scenario would be a very bad precedent to set and may cause the board to smoke and none of us want that to happen.
