Most of those post that your talking about are "sarcastic" post. I remember I made one (way back when) about what kind of toothpaste the boys use. Which was a total sarcastic post, then again I'm always open to new toothpaste to help fight decay.

Similar to Axl claiming the rights to 'Guns and Roses', Horovitz attempted to claim the rights to the name BS2000. Which would leave Mike and Yauch having to promote a 'Beastie Boys and BS2000 World Tour'. And Horovitz would probably hook up some braids, and demand a formal introduction ("ladies and gentlemen, 'Root Down' featuring BS2000") prior to every song. And Ostrich egg Omlettes. Wild.

I know they will be keenly anticipating the way in which CD (yeah, we're gonna call it that) will shape the contemporary musical landscape. Axl will probably use some beats, the Beasties will probably start doing 'You Could Be Mine' in exchange.

Consequently, Mike D decided he would tour under the name 'Young Aborigines' and Yauch will now be known as 'Brooklyn'. So the band will be coming to Australia as a triple-headlining-festival-revival tour of sorts. It's gonna be hard work. As ever, Australia is ready for the challenge.
