cph: dox

AIFST has now been shown 2 out of 3 times on cph: dox film festival.
I would had seen it the first time, but my buddies were to late to answer if they wanted to go or not, so I was to late to get tickets for the first screening, but I got tickets for last night's screening :)

As we waited to get in, a few people were, "o yeah, brass monkey" and I thought they were fans as well, but as we got in and the film started, I was the only one who reacted on the Think film "Girls" dots thingies. And as we kept on I was the only one head nodding -except my buddy's boy friend...
There were some men talking behind me, but when I looked back, they were all still not moving at all :(
So all in all, it was great, and most people seemed to like it though, that was the vibe I felt when it stopped. Some were, "it could have been so much better if..." but they were, "Mr. I-think-I-know-it-all"s...

One thing that was a HUGE bummer was, the film broke right before Sabotage. It just stopped and the lights went on, and some people said; "that is the worst ending EVER" even though I yelled "IT'S NOT OVER YET!!!” One guy asked me if I had seen it before, and I answered "yeah I got it on DVD *nerdy gloat*". We waited for like a minute till started again, right before I could yell "WHHHYYY", I got kinda really pissed that they didn't rewind it...

I ruined it a bit, b/c I had seen it on DVD previously 1000 times, but it was still fuckin’ awesome and sweet mother of Larry the sound was soooo amazing. It was so much better than on my TV-set. (y) It’s weird how different it was to the sound that’s coming out of my speakers at home, and I must say I WANT A SORUND SOUND SYSTEM AT HOME ;)

YESSS i gotta agree AIFST sounded 10000000x much better in a theatre, on the BIG SCREEN! i had a feeling that everyone else in there weren't as "die-hard" as i was too, since i was the only one actually singing along and smiling and loving it soo much but that was okay with me :)

if i had my own home theater...WOOOOOOW that would be so sweet. just the beastie and me. ;) (and the millions of other people at the concert haha)

too bad about sabotage, everytime it comes on, i'll be doing the air guitar ! :cool:

I think it was the same film as in Rome, or at least it said something about the Rome film fest, did it also break there?

Yeah it was avesome... Saw it on the opening night + afterparty with denmarks finest Dj Noize... It was nice...
