I've been listening to a few of their albums lately, and I gotta say, whether it's their early Brian Eno/more experimental phase to their more poppier material, these guys kick your ass in any way possible! (y)

Yeah I agree. But can you try to not be so corny when you're making threads about cool bands?

Are you sure you want to offer me coaching assistance on not being corny when you got a Keanu Reeves avatar?

Hey, I didn't do it. I posted my password and left my account up for hijacking. So far everyone has been real lame. Each year you guys get progressively lamer and lamer when it comes to hijacking my account.

And anyway, it says "sucks" right besides Keanu.

Is that even Keanu reeves?

If it's not him, it sure looks a lot like him.

I agree that Roxy Music kicks your ass in any way possible. Even from the side or hanging upside down.

It's K-Fed. You of all people should know this. Don't even act like you don't know what I'm talking about, Mr. I'm-one-of-only-6,000-people-that-bought-his-new-album.

Don't worry guys, I'll drag him to an alley and beat the shit out of him for his corniness when he comes here in December.

I like Roxy music OK, Siren is a pretty good album. Roxy music probably sounded much better at the time of release than today IMO. I've always been a fan of the sloppier music for some reason. They are almost too clean for my fucked up lifestyle.

I was thinking of your thread. :)

Roxy Music is one of the few bands where I can listen to the whole album so I've always got one of the CDs in my car.

DS: Avalon is pretty much a Bryan Ferry solo album and I love it. If you like Avalon best, I hope that you have Bryan Ferry's Boys and Girls. It's pretty similar except I like a few of the songs better.

The good and bad thing about Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry during that era is the videos -- they all look like ads for Obsession perfume. I always wanted giant hair like the model in the Avalon video. :o

As a matter of fact, I do have Ferry's "Boys and Girls." I wouldn't mind checking out some other Bryan Ferry solo albums, too.
