I'm wary of a new Simpsons movie.
I heard they might have brought back some of the old writers. If they did that, I'd see it right away. If it's just the new "I'm outta ideas, here's cheap laughs" crew...I'll have to pass.

Newsflash - Simpsons hasn't been "on it's day" since around 1999. That's around 7 seasons and 2 sets of writing staff ago.
Homer was funny when he made 'intellectual' remarks, not as he is now, flying around on the end of a crane having sharp objects prick him and screaming at the top of his lungs.

news flash, people who say "news flash" are gaylords
i'll admit its mainly poo now, and lots of things about it annoy me head, but when it is good (which it is occasionally) its still better than every other thing ever. ever.

Simpsons haters can eat a dick. Sure the show is downhill but like any show or anything has maintained flawless consistency throughout its existence.

Engage your brain and you might realise that I'm only slagging off The Simpsons post '99. I'm not a 'Simpsons hater', I'm a 'The Homer Simpson and Family Slapstick and Wacky Adventure Half Hour' hater.
Apart from the 1st series, The Simpsons was almost flawless up until they fired all of the talented crewmembers. It was, and still is, some of the best television ever. Credit where credit's due - hell I've even seen two newer episodes this week that almost felt as if they might just almost kinda have belonged pre '99.
But the fact is, if you're willing to take The Simpsons as a whole and accept 7 series of utter shit because the first 9 series were good, then the producers will never get the message to stop producing tripe and pack up and go home before its ratings sink so low that you could count them on your hands and leave nothing behind except a sour taste.

i think when barney gave up beer and became coffee addicted
