automator has mentioned in many an interview that recording shall wrap-up in december, both koala and del are back on board as well as a slew of guests, let's just hope del has, so-to-say, found himself, for most of his particularly limited work since the last deltron has been shoddy to say the least. anyhow, im fuckin jacked about it anyway. automator never disappoints. anyone else looking forward to this?

I'm sort of looking forward to this. Though I kinda got bored with the first disc.

I agree but I'm having a REAL tough time with the NBA 2K7 soundtrack.
I think it's substandard by automator standards.

you have to be playing the game to enjoy the 2k7 soundtrack
It's strange how Del himself said the last album was silly and not really an indication of 'himself'. (I'm looking for the link)
But yeah, if it's anything like the last album I'll enjoy it thoroughly. As long as it's not Dr. Octagon part 2. Ugh.

I'd rather have another Handsome Boy record.

To be quite honest, in automator's defense, through the numerous interviews I've researched about the 2K7 project, the whole idea of Automator producing the entire soundtrack came a little late in the game, leaving him with very minimal (we're talking a matter of a coupla months) to pull the whole thing together. I'm guessing that alot of those beats we're kind of abandoned grooves or sidethoughts that he just had laying around that he just rushed into releasable form to hit his deadline. Plus, keep in mind that the beats had to complement the gameplay wherein most of his more representable work is more downbeat and downtempo trip-hopish, which probably wouldn't make for as exciting of a soundtrack for an adrenaline based videogame. And lastly, considering the roster of MCs who were aboard, I would imagine he was trying to keep the beats as open-ended and universally compatible as possible so he could interchange and disperse the rappers with more ease.
I'd rather have another Handsome Boy record.
I wouldn't hold my breath for that. Word on the streets, and from their own mouths, is that there's been an irreconcilable falling out between Paul and Dan.
