...it was okay. Emma Thompson made some odd choices and stuck to her guns, which was cool. I love that lady.

Maggie Gylenhaaaaalalalaaa was really good, too. That role could've easily been so bad; she did a nice, nice job.

There are some sort of computer graphics things that were some of the highlights of the movie.

Overall: matinee money.

It was filmed in Chicago and I remember running into Dustin Hoffman at a coffee shop and I was like woah.

Any relation to Chuck Palahniuk's Stranger Than Fiction?

I don't think so.

It's sort of like a Charlie Kaufmann movie for people who think Charlie Kaufman's just too, too weird. Like a... well, better than a Hallmark card version, but in that general area.

In other words: NOT DANGEROUS. :)
