the green arrow to turn comes on and everyone going straight hits their gas for half a second until they realize that its not a green for them and they break again. It happens at every intersection on the planet.

I like when that happens. Especially when I am in the other lane that is supposed to go straight. It makes me feel like I've got a one up on the person next to me. It helps the self esteem a bit.

First time in my life that one could have been vaguely useful was this summer. Might get one.

I once watched a cab do that. I was going straight, he was going straight in the lane next to me. He slammed on the gas when the arrow turned green...and of course, across from us THEIR arrow was green and they were turning in front of us. So I watch with a sick grin on my face, and some asshole behind me honks! And the guy stops and backs up, avoiding the accident.

There would have been no injuries, they were all going around 5-10 mph, so it would have just been funny.

we have some roundabouts in chicago. I hate them because everyone always gets confused and drives the wrong way on them. they're only on side streets tho.
