The houselights go down and the butane lighters go up.
I came across Stylus Magazine's Top 50 live albums list and found it to be lacking in some areas, yet all of the top 10 have much merit. I'm not a big Talking Heads fan and they managed to have two albums in the top 50 + Bob Dylan (one of the most erractic live performers ever) has 2 albums in the top 50.
Here is the LIST (http://www.stylusmagazine.com/articles/weekly_article/stylus-magazines-top-50-live-albums-of-all-time.htm), I could've easily bumped a dozen off that top 50.
here are a few noticeable missing albums,
Get Yer Ya Ya's Out - Rolling Stones
Cheap Trick At Budokan - Cheap Trick
Jimi Plays Monterey - Jimi Hendrix (Wild Thing is one of live music's finest moments IMHO)
