I never really understood why companies do that. As if you want to eat more of something after you've found something wrong with it.

There was a kid at my school who found a maggot in his chicken drumstick that he bought from the canteen. The school offered him a free chicken drumstick (no doubt made from the same diseased chicken) as compensation :rolleyes:

i know one of my crazy messican aunts once found a rat in a can of pepsi. years and years ago.

and there was a big dead cucaracha inside one of my mom's Rolo chocolates, and those had been her favorite for years. it took her forever to eat them again.


oh, and once a bigass grasshopper was in my brother's milk. took him 3 months to drink milk again.

I actually didn't find anything too gross, ever. Just one of those plastic tab thingees that close up bread packages in a burger, at Wendy's. I was like HEY THIS ISN'T EDIBLE! and they were like "lol, sorry, have anything from the menu" so I got a free mushroom burger for the price of a Jr. Bacon Cheezburger!

I found a big fat fly folded up in the lettuce of a sandwich I got from 7eleven. it was pretty gross. luckily I always open my sandwiches and tear up the lettuce, otherwise I prolly would've eaten that sucker. I didn't report it or anything because usually the sandwiches were fresh and delicious and the old man that ran the sev by my house always gave me free stuff anyway. like cookies or chips or an extra sparks (http://www.40ouncebeer.com/pictsenergydrinks/sparkscans.jpg).

we found maggots in our tender roast chicken from KFC. when we went back to report it the place was packed, lines were huge. we went straight up to the counter and said we needed to see the manager straight away. the girl behind the counter was a full on bitch and said we couldnt see the manager, and what was the problem? my dad said 'um no, i really think we need to see the manager right now!!' the girl answered rudely with, 'look. u cant see the manager right now. just tell me!! whats the problem??'

so my dad unpacked the chicken and announced reeeaallllyy loudly,

'THERES MAGGOTS IN MY CHICKEN!!!!'

the store emptied in 3 seconds flat. there was a look of horror on the girls face and we got taken straight out the back. we got a $50 voucher to eat there next time. my dad argued that why the fuck would we eat here again, so we got $50 cash instead.


when i worked at mcdonalds the manager was helping me in the kitchen one morning and she served up a bacon and egg mcmuffin, and 5 mins later this guy came back and he looked really green and demanded to see the manager, turns out there was a MASSIVE solid chunk of green mould about the size of 50c piece embedded into the muffin, she never saw it cos che had them cut side up on the tray the whole time. she was speechless and sat down with them and chatted for about half an hour, and they got free maccas for the rest of the year!! (about 4 months.)
