I am a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and this weekend gets me really really fired-up. For the Europeans and non-college football fans on the BBMB...this is Ohio State vs Michigan weekend. Both teams are 11-0 and play in a huge rivalry game.
It is Wednesday and all I can think about is the game. I know when the Scarlet and Grey run out of the tunnel and onto the field the Big Horseshoe will be rocking and rolling and I will get chicken skin.

Anyway....I found some funny videos bashing Michigan. A band called the Dead Schembechlers dress like Woody Hayes and sing about the mutilation of the Wolverines. Take a look....I find it funny.

ABC is having a 1 hour pre-game. The crowd will be in a frenzy. If the Buckeyes score early it will be a complete madhouse.

I have been watching my Buckeye videos all week. Woody Hayes Football Coach--a documentary by the BBC and the History of Ohio State football.

I always get phone calls from my friends and some Michigan fans that I hate to call friends. It is always a good time.

I'M FLYING BACK TO OHIO TOMORROW!! I'll be in Columbus Saturday for THE Ohio State game and in Cleveland on Sunday to watch the Browns beat the Steelers! This is going to be the best weekend ever!

in the UK we don't get that much (in fact hardly any) college football...just pro footy on a sunday/monday....i've been a bears fan since the mid 80's...still got my walter payton top....

im leaving friday midday, couple of buddies are picking me up and we are meeting with my one friend that goes to OSU. im not as hyped for the game as just the partying thats gonna be going on. i respect the importance of it and all but they are gay with it.

i was down there couple years ago and i just had a random like blue coat on, coulda cared less what side one, and my buddy like maaaade me put on one of his red OSU hats because he was saying how id get in a fight without it. thats just gay.

Your joking about the browns thing right? Although the browns are playing better now.

Here at Heinz Field on Friday night we are having boxing matches...with pittsburgh natives vs cleveland natives. Good times.


I grew up a Bengals fan...now a steelers fan since moving to pittsburgh and I still dont understand why everyone hates the browns. Even when I was a bengals fan I cheered for the browns in the afc playoffs, especially in 86 and 87. I loved watching bernie kosar play(y)

College football at its best! It's going to be interesting to see how the bcs standings will be effected after this game. I think if its a close game, the loser won't fall to far down the standings, however if its a blowout...the loser may drop further down. Damn oomputer rankings.

Just based on the computer rankings, rutgers is #2! But they get molested by the ap and coaches polls.

The rumor is that Bo Schembechler passed up a doctor's appointment to address the Michigan team last night. His death adds even more craziness to what will be an insane atmosphere. The game begins at 3:30 eastern.

One thing I never got about sports. It's all about location rather than how well they play. I find so many Redskin/Terps/Ravens fans around here, and it's rare to hear stuff like "Yeah, go Cornhuskers!" or some shit. Maybe it's cuz they suck, but still. It always seemed silly to me to root for a team just because they happen to go to the same school as me or live (play, rather) in the same state that I do. Why is that.
