I can't recall if this has been posted here before or not. I don't think so, and if it has, it's certainly been a while. I found it interesting.

Click here for the Belief-O-Matic quiz at beliefnet.com, (http://beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html) which will compare your beliefs to several major world religions and show how 'compatible' your beliefs are in percentage points. For example, here are my results:

1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (95%)
3. Liberal Quakers (84%)
4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (74%)
5. Nontheist (70%)

only 69% Taoist? nuts! i like the taoists the most.

i dunno about this test though, my beliefs are weird, because i fundamentally believe that all beliefs should be doubted, including that one, so i just kept checking "low" in the importance section, except for the parts where they asked about what kind of social policy you're into because hey, everyone can get behind that kind of thing.

and i dunno about being 100% secular humanist, because i do believe in a kind of fate, only i don't think it's cosmic or that it serves any kind of purpose or great will, it's just what it is. didn't see that option.

oh well, it's not like test was gonna come out any other way anyways, no use complaining

I also love that they don't pretend that the bible answers all the questions -- they just put a guy in charge and let him make the rules.

Holy shit, just because you were baptised doesn't make you a catholic. I went to catholic schools until I was 17 and church every sunday until I was 12, and I'm still an atheist. You DO get a choice, you know.
