Gamers are going to be pissed off to the highest of Pisstivity when they get the PS3 home and realize this thing has more bugs than the slums of Chicago. Due to the problems with Blueray, these things are having problems playing PS2 games. I wouldn't waste my time or mone on a PS3 for another couple of years.

Most first batches have problems. The 360 has a policy where if you have to send your 360 back three times you get a free game.

They have overheating issues.

They've more or less sussed it now but it still sucks.

I hate how companies basically use early adopters as beta testers.

yeah i read in the paper the other day that it doesn't play ALL of the old games... only certain ones.

I have heard some great stories about people waiting in line,all true and reported by the news.

There was about 100 people waiting inside a Wal-Mart and management told them they had to wait outside, well I guess they didn't like that because they caused a riot and the police had to take some people to jail.

This one was almost scary, some people were waiting in line about two days ago and of course they had some form of cash on them, someone put two and two together and decided to ROB THE PEOPLE WAITING FOR A PS3.

My last great one is a few days ago there was people waiting at a Best Buy (I believe it was a Best Buy) and someone did a DRIVE-BY on the people in line WITH A BB GUN!

i heard that a Best Buy in Boston gave the 1st 140 people tickets so they wouldn't have to wait in line, thats smart

A long time ago, I worked for a store, and the heartbreaking part was that when the games didn't work, you couldn't exchange your broken one for a good one. Grown mom's would sob at my customer service counter. I can't imagine standing in the line and then getting a bad one.

A guy I work with lined up for this, some kind of rare CD, and a bunch of Tickle Me Elmos this week. He's selling most of what he bought on ebay.
