I still think the episode where Michael Scott "outs" Oscar is by far the most hysterical, cringe-worthy, episode.
Or the "cultural diversity" one.

The best is when Oscar's man comes to pick him up and Michael is like "I wonder if his room mate knows he is gay?" or something along those lines.
Wasn't the clutural diversity the first one? and loosely followed the originals story line and jokes?

Cultural Diversity was the second episode, since I've never seen the UK version I don't know if they took a lot of jokes from one of the British episodes or not.
I wasn't really liking the start of the third season mainly because they separated Jim and Pam but by the third or fourth episode I was loving it like I used to (y)
How fucking great was it when the one black dude put the fist to his chest to and Stanley was just annoyed by it? Yeah...you are right...about that great.

the first episode was more or less a copy of the british version's pilot. the second episode was cultural diversity and it was an original script.

the whole episode is on there already!????
I recorded it and I just watched the merge episode. Very funny.
I like really wish Jim would stick with this new gal, Karen, and dump frumpy Pam. The new dynamics of the show are great.
I would like to thank the Brits for giving us the Office but we will take it from here.
Oh, and I found a photo of the 2 new love interests hanging out in real life.

The orientation videos were great. This show is definitely heading in the right direction. I have friends that have a holier-than-thou complex about that show since they were pretty familiar with the UK version. I find it to be great, yet they can't stand it because it's a "rip-off." It's all good. Watch your fucking deal or no deal while you're missing the best show on tv.

People actually watch Deal or No Deal?? :(

i used to do that too, then i actually watched it (thanks to dandyfop for convincing me). season one was a little meh at first, but season two is great. and now that i like the show, i like season one, too.
for me the biggest difficulty was getting over dwight. he's really just not quite the same thing as gareth, and that takes getting used to. i still like gareth better to be honest but dwight's ok. i love how michael just hates dwight so much. i also love toby, both as a character and for how much michael unconditionally hates him just because he's technically on the corporate payroll.
"i hate....so much....about the things that you choose to be..."

Apparently. It's* been annoying the shit out of me for some time now.

Agreed. I think I take this stance cuz you ultimately know that Jim and Pam will get together, but hey, Karen is fucking hot and Pam's been teasin' the man for way too long.

The episode before yesterday's was pretty funny too. My favorite part was when Jim's boss called him and the other guy into his office,
"This isn't working... Jim, are you using FPP-40, or 44?."
"...Sniper rifle."
haha

the office is the only show i watch on tv......but i think it fell off some.......i don't like the pam/jim dynamic now.....and all the extra heads in the office is gonna get wierd......
this is season's all about.....what stupid thing is michael gonna say next.......
What is the single most important thing for a company? Is it the building? Is it the stock? Is it the turnover? It's the people. The *people*. My proudest moment here wasn't when I increased profits by 17%, or cut expenditure without losing a single member of staff. No, no, no ,no. It was a young Guatamalan guy, first job in the country, hardly spoke a word of English, but he came to me and he went "Mr Scott, will you be the Godfather to my child?" Didn't work out in the end. We had to let him go. He sucked.
~Michael Scott
that one actually was taken from the british one though
i'm not even being elitist, it's just it was from the pilot, and they took alot of lines from the british pilot
i'm not even being elitist
Yes you are.
Yes you are.
i'm not, it was literally taken from the british version. they changed a few words, but that's what it is
Brent's philosophy: "My proudest moment here wasn't when I increased profits by 17% or cut expenditure without losing a single member of staff. No. It was a young Greek guy, first job in the country, hardly spoke a word of English, but he came to me and he went, 'Mr Brent, will you be the godfather to my child?' Didn't happen in the end. We had to let him go, he was rubbish."

I can't get over that Sexyback video that I posted hah. I love it....first time I heard that song maybe that had something to do with it.
I hate the new chick just because I think she's strange looking (and I will add for the billionth time how funny I think it is that she's Quincy Jones daughter, for Arrested fans out there) She and John Krasinski are dating in real life.
I kinda don't care about Jim and Pam right now because of the other funny shit happening now.
I recorded it and I just watched the merge episode. Very funny.

so wait, is jim's hair a wig? i'd have never guessed
or maybe they filmed the whole season, and he got a haircut afterwards? like in the UK one, tim's hair in the christmas special is way shorter than in the 2 seasons.
i dunno, TV's weird

John was in some Army movie that's why his hair is all short in that pic
My friend about a month ago gave me a section of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about The Office and Scranton's feelings about the show. Scranton is nicknamed "The Electric City" because it was the first to used an electric trolley. Soooo.........yeah.........that's that.
