I was stood up by two different groups of friends today. I can't remember the last time I was stood up at all.

I need to finish my laundry and pack my suitcase, but I'm tempted to go see a movie by myself.

Screw them. I'll go see a movie with you...what should we see? There's actually a decent amount of good films out right now. Or you could come over and watch Star Trek with me...naw let's go out.

Oh, I wish. I haven't seen STNG in years.

I'm thinking it will be the Christopher Guest movie for me, if I can get out of here in the next half hour.

I never love Christopher Guest's movies as much as other people do. But it was pretty funny. Parts were super funny. You can always count on Fred Willard, Catherine OHara, and Parker Posey. I thought there were too many cameos from people who were just famous enough to be distracting and those cameos were never funny on their own. But it was a minor distraction. I don't want to give anything away, but Catherine OHara near the end had me laughing so hard I couldn't look at the screen anymore.
