universities should have places where for a fee (like, a few bucks every hour or fifteen minutes or what have you) you can lie down in a dark, quiet room on a cot or small mattress or something and have naptime. and they'd have little alarms set, or you could pay to have someone coo softly to you that it's time to wake up. seriously, this library does not need 4 levels. one could easily be reserved for siesta time.

at my first college it was easy to do that in the library. nice secluded little desks...here it's much more open, and kind of discouraged. sleephating nazis :(

not having nap rooms at school never stopped me from sleeping during breaks. A lot of people took naps outside on the grass or in a corner of the library....

I have had a great idea like this for years....sorta

I thought it'd be cool to had a duel spa relaxation/frustration place

on one side you can go and relax in a hyperbaric chamber/sauna/mud bath and the like and on the other side you can go into a room and smash everything in it/punching bags/scream at someone and stuff

i would honestly just settle for soundproof rooms. i don't care how small they are, just give me a place to go where i can close the door and not have to hear people, so i can get some work done. i seriously can't study at the library, people bother me. they're either talking, or whispering, or chewing, or messing around with plastic bags, or walking, or zipping and unzipping things, or coughing or sniffling or snorting

i bring headphones, but it's not ideal. it's a library, so i really can't have them up too loud, and if it's not loud enough to drown out the loudest asshole(s) in my vicinity i'm out of luck

well i just mean it's like, i have 2 hours between classes, and it's really not enough time to go home, so i just need a quiet place on campus to get some work done. besides i get distracted at home too easily (i should be working on another memo right now, for example), i could use a place to go where i can do nothing but work. but i get annoyed so easily! i have an eggshell skull of sorts

YES! i so agree, i would pay. and sleeping on the lawn or whatever isnt cool, with all those people passing by? how annoying and it makes you feel self conscious when youre all sleeping. sleeping is private!

After 12 hour night shift, I used to lie down on a park bench and sleep while I waited the two hours for a bus to come. I would have loved for a place to go to have a snooze, but I wouldn't want to pay for a hotel.

my uni is next to the botanic gardens so i have naps there sometimes in long breaks. it's great coz the trees cut out the sound of the city

in my school, the studying cubbies in the library are all along the windows and the heaters, so if i go on a sunny day, i can fall asleep and bask in the warm glow of the sun...

but the couch at the radio station is much better.

we just have a few areas around campus that are generally known for being good for napping. although i could probably pass out just about enywhere if given the chance
