I was looking up guitar lessons on you tube and saw Ygwnie Malmsteen's lesson on blues. I was absolutely amazed at his subtle teaching methods. So subtle that in 2 and a half minutes he achieved in teaching me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. His whole lessons consisted of himself showing off playing a billion notes in a second and sounding like a cow taking a shit. AND it isn't even blues! Where's the space? Where's the soul? where is any of the blues stuff. He might aswell be strumming all the open strings and he'd probably sound the same.
Much in the same way that i have to watch a car crash rather than turn away, i then moved onto his chord progressions.

It begins by him telling us one chord progression with some badly explained chords no one will ever need. He then plays these behind a base and drums. Fair enough. After this he begins ANOTHER boring solo. hang on? wasn't this about chord progressions. Oh now that he's finished teaching that he can show off again and play another billion note a second solo which isn't disimilar to scratching finger nails down a chalk board. This then continues for another 5! minutes.
In conclusion Ygwnie Malmsteen is a piece of shit guitarist who i'd rather bludgeon myself with a brick than listen to him play
