Trying to play burnout 2 revenge on my ps2

and everytime I get to a room and get ready to play, I get a prompt stating that I've failed to connect to players and I need to make sure my firewall setting is correct.

I'm lost. I used Socom3 for creating my network settings instead of a network startup disk because it's been lost and hopefully I don't need one of those to edit my firewall settings.

I can play other games such as MGS3 online but Burnout Revenge is the only one that gives me that prompt.

Can someone tell me what's wrong please?

crap. I tried looking at a few websites for info on it, adjusted my network settings like it explains and ended up disabling my whole network.
