I don't care how expendable your income is - if you're willing to pay $200 for a fucking scarf, you're a retard in my book.

A $200 scarf is bad, but what kills me are things like $700 jeans. And I'm sure that there are tons of people who don't even blink at that.

That's something that bugs me about "style" sections of magazines... why not outfit people in clothes that regular people could actually afford?

Because living outside of your means and buying bullshit you can't afford is part of the American dream!!! ;) ;) (y) ;)

yeah $200 is a ton for a scarf.

but then again I spend $50-70 bucks on awesome shirts and am willing to spend around $100+ on awesome sneaks. I shake my head at myself sometimes but I can't help it. I love them so very much :( At least my last shoe purchase was $40!

Shoes are a solid investment though, dude. They're actually utilitarian. Scarves are too, I suppose, but only for a portion of the year. Fuck that.

I drop too much cash on kicks. That's for sure.

I don't dig on scarves though. I seriously can't wait to move to a part of the country where scarves are not something people routinely spend their money on. Watch out, southern California... I'm headed your way.

Shoes are a solid investment, true.

But I also spend too much money on weird socks. Then again they only run about 2 to 5 bucks. I am so glad it's getting cold in a way (cold relative to SD) so I can wear my socks again. I am wearing these striped ones today with a Octopus on it and the Octopus has those bubbles eyes with a bead like it's looking around when I move. :D

I'm 5 years old.
