My older brother, his wife and 2 boys just flew back to Virginia. Whew!
My brother married a real live redneck. I swear she has Munchausen syndrome. From the time she gave birth she has been sick and the kids are always being taken to the hospital. She smokes one cigarette after another and both boys (5 & 7 years old) have brochial asthma. They sound like they have emphasema. She sits and yells for people instead of getting up and going to find them. SCOTT!! NICK!!! I think my house is still echoing......
My baby is 13 weeks old and never cries. He is very healthy. I cannot count the number of times that she said Aiden had a stomach ache or fever. They were here only 4 days and she just kept on and on with her anal behavior. He would eat---oh, look how he gulps he is STARVING!! He would make a noise--oh, his stomach is upset--you might want to call the pediatrician. Yesterday, before Thankgiving dinner Aiden was fussing because he was fighting off sleep. He was tired. She kept picking him up and messing with him. We kept saying--he is tired let him go to sleep. She grabbed a bottle of breast milk and started force feeding him. Well, the poor dude just lost it and cried like a banshee.
Her kids are always complaining of a sore stomach and she lets them out of eating and treats them like sick babies. It is really sad but I despise my sister-in-law. She is a real freak. My nephews are good kids but they do destructive things and she laughs it off. Oh, boys will be boys. My brother is so whipped he just sits around with a blank stare on his face.
I do miss my family but when they leave I realize how much I like the quiet and my small family.
Does anyone else dread family visits?
I think I need to chill but it really bothers me when family members start trying to bring disarray into my life. I am sorry that you need to have conflict and sickness in your life but just leave me out of it. Thank you.
