I think Hitler's death put a crimp in the sequel plans.

I've read most of it. It's all bullshit.

EDIT: when I say 'most', I mean 'some'.

does its presence in your bathroom make you wanna stay in the toilet a littel longer to read a little more each time?

"'Doing stuff' is overrated. Look at Hitler: he did a lot of stuff, but doesn't everybody wish he would've just sat out and done some bong hits?"

...I also like the idea of "My Struggle in the bathroom was a lot longer than I thought."

My wife studied History in college. I was rummaging through boxes after our move and I found some of her text books and papers. Among her old books was a copy of the Communist Manifesto. I have it on my downstairs toilet tank. It gets lots of comments. I usually slam my fist on a table or against the wall and scream----Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communist revolution! The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Workingmen of all countries, unite!!

i haven't actually read any of the book, i'm just saying it's in my bathroom, one of my roommates must have bought it. there are quite a few books in my bathroom, one of them is called "double deuce", it's by a guy called robert parker, who looks unnervingly like mike ditka, anyway it's an appropriate book to be in a bathroom, not unlike mein kampf

Buy em, burn em. Try it! It will make you feel good knowing some white supremacist pig will have to check one more hick bookshop for it.

most likely it will be a history professor, rather than a racist.

And history professors are always Liberals.

I'd say read some of it. It's more a historical reference than racist literature. But it is very tough going, and it's not very rewarding. It's like a text book that you don't learn anything from.

I never bothered finishing it because I satisfied my curiosity before I was done.

People that want it banned or burnt or whatever are just scared of it. Society shapes books more than books shape society, I can't really see the point of hating a book, or wanting it banned.

Unless it's like kiddie porn or summing

i think people want to ban books because they don't want to encourage free thinking.
