is there any way I can get this visualisation (http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f305/Sprewell15/47847eghsfhdfhsd.jpg?t=1164445452) to fuck off? I just want that little playlist up there...I am not too hopeful as the playlist bit seems to come out of the visualisation....
I'm thinking it'll have to be on taskbar...

I might have given i-tunes a go if that bunch of nazi's didn't require you to install bloody quicktime.

...the fuck? iTunes runs on quicktime. Quicktime, IMHO, is necessary for any computer user. n00b or not.

Any free program that bitches at you for not having the "professional" version is down there with real player.
Real Alternative and Quicktime Alternative are the way forward.
No need to thank me.

It's super easy to get QT pro. You don't even need to download anything, just enter a serial number you can find online, and you will have it.

I know but it's bloatware, it has way too much stuff on it.
Quicktime Alternative is freeware.
I'm a minimalist when it comes to most software.

I've had Winamp since like, 1926...now I'm sick of it and want to see if WMP has got any sweet features, plus now my messenger contacts can witness firsthand how awesome my music taste is.

you could just tell both of your messenger contacts what you're listening to.

i just use the "compact" mode or whatever it's called. but that gets rid of the playlist too.

Put this in your Winamp plugin folder and it will put your awesome music taste on messenger.

the only reason i use wmp is that it controls the volume for your music files the best way i've seen a media player can do. it's the only media player that i know off that actually determines the actual volume for the WHOLE song and adjust the volume accordingly. instead, all the other media players that have a "auto volume leveling" function, level the volume instantly so soft parts become loud and loud parts become less loud. thus, distorting the original track.
