So my friend and I just got mugged in a dark alleyway...

yep yep. we were walking to this resturaunt and we saw a group of shady looking charecters (maybe 8-10 guys dressed in all black) sitting in a dark spot on the road, so we decided to go through the alleyway figuring it was so dark they wouldnt realize we were there, well we were wrong. we were about to turn the corner and they turned just like.. 5 seconds before we did. and they seperated around us, and they said hey, and then one of the dudes grabbed my friends purse and tried to run but she hung on. So I got my cell phone out and I was going to call 911 but I put it in my pocket because I was afraid they'd take it/they'd pull a weapon, and they dragged my friend across the ground and I couldnt move (yet I was strangley calm) and they picked her up and asked her and me did we have any money and we said no, (she didnt have any money, I had all the money on me, but they didnt even touch me) then they made her go through her purse and once they saw she didnt have anything the dude gave her a FRIGGIN HUG and says "we're just jokin' with you guys." And they walk off. we were so shooken up we forgot to call the cops we just ran to the MCdonalds where it was super bright and called my friends who we had been with that night.

the cops were called about a half hour later, and it was documented but they havent called me yet so I guess there was no luck in finding them.

They fucking FOLLOWED us. who the fuck does that? :mad: (n)

I didnt know they had mace like that. That's pretty cool. I dont carry my purse around much, only on the weekends, and thank god I didnt take it or else I would have been heartbroken. I was wondering that (because I have a Dooney and Bourke) would they have taken my purse even if they found out I had no money in it? My friend had a little knife on her but it was IN the purse not on her. Dont know what she would have done with it...

We saw them sitting there from far away, and it was dark where they were so she suggested we take the alley because we know the area well, I've been walking those alleys for years, and they followed us.


well first I called my mom and then my friend and then we went looking for them so we could call the cops if we found them and then we went back to my friends house and her parents were out and they said they didnt want the cops at their house without them there. I didnt know what to do.
