Oh, such pretty bunnies!

I was there for Thanksgiving. I couldn't believe the local news guys on Sunday morning as the reporters tried to find some snow to show the folks and they were saying "there used to be some here" while pointing to the black asphalt in the mall's parking lot. :p But my mom actually got quite a bit.

Turns out that everyone stayed inside (except the marathoners) and I got to the airport in record time! (y)

Yeah, its pretty crazy here. Ice on the roads is two inches thick and the temp hasn't gone above 25 where I'm at. The news is saying that some people were stuck on the freeway all night, that last night's commute bled into this morning's commute and people were abandoning their cars on the freeway and walking. People got stranded at the Seahawks game because they discontinued bus service.

Oh, by the way, the fortifications were from 7-11.

Pretty! You know, I haven't accepted that it's getting close to Christmastime because it's been 60 degrees these past few days. I hear there's a cold front supposed to be coming through sometime, but as of right now it feels like September weather.

I just feel weird putting up a tree in this kind of climate.

^sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeit. last week i was checking the cypress and grouse mountain cams and was completely shocked to see the amount of snow they have already. unreal. back in my old 'hood they haven't got fuck all yet.

i may have to rethink my mini vacation destination.

Weather update....Amarillo Texas 4 to 6 inches mixed with sleet. Tomorrow more snow. I will take a couple photos in the morning. Yeeehaw.
The storm is moving northeast toward Illinois.

It looks like we will have a white Christmas in the Panhandle of Texas. This morning we awakened to 3 inches of snow mixed with freezing rain. It is amazing how beautiful the sight of snow is to tired eyes. I walked around the house and took some photographs from the windows of our home. We have missed the beauty of snow although I do miss sitting on the beach in late December. This is our 2nd snow in the high plains of Northwest Texas and we plan on stoking a nice fire this weekend. Here is wishing you all a happy holidays. Be sure to drink the hot toddy in moderation.

Here, 20 december, no snow, in montreal that is, further back in the country , they have a bit of it!

Pretty depressing for the holidays time!!!

The fucking planet is getting warmer and warmer. When I was a younster, we use to play/dive in big pile of snow and built forts! IT is impossible for kids nowaydays to do this awesome thing.

Really, it suck!

I read to that in even the Alpes have trouble getting their ski season started IE no snow there , like worst then usual!!

Anyway i am jealous of everybody who can freaking slide and play in the snow right now...enjoy it while it last!

No snow here yet. As of two days ago, it was 75 degrees and sunny. I believe that's 15.5 degrees celsius. :cool:
