the general demeanor of the show makes me want to set the TV on fire, then throw it out the window but somehow not get burnt while throwing it.

i totally wrote that i had never seen an episode of frasier but what i meant was seinfeld. seinfeldseinfeldseinfeld.

frasier was a tad pretentious sometimes. it totally thought it was more clever than WOT IT ACTUALLY WUZ.

um. that's it.

people have made Kelsey Grammar stickers with him as a cyclops and put them up around town. ALSO, there's a funny flyer up by my bus stop that says, "FRASIER! A GREAT SHOW FOR YOU TO WATCH WITH YOUR FAMILY!" and some other stuff. and the cyclops picture. I laff every time.

That show was pretty lame, but the guy who played Niles was damned good. (y)

John Mahoney was great elsewhere (Say Anything, Barton Fink)...

Excuse me, Frasier, but you may have perhaps left the margarine out of the refrigeration apparatus!

Oh, Niles, that is a bold statement! It may or may not have occured to you that mayhaps our dearest father musteth had left thine margarine out last night as he was perusing the television channels in pursuit of the sitcom known as THE GOLDEN GIRLS!
HA! HA!
HE WATCHES GOLDEN GIRLS!

Brother, thine humor isth supreme as opposed to golden nuggets!!!!!

Is it just me or does that song always bring up horrible, Frasier related, explicit sexual images?

This thread was getting to me too, as it brought up memories of the show and Kelsey in particular. But like a trainwreck, I couldn't turn away and had to read all the replies so far. Anyway, thank you Heiress for taking my mind off Frasier and reminding me of something much better; the scene in Terminator 2 where Arnold is cutting his arm open to reveal to Miles Dyson that he is in fact, a terminator. :)

Oh and good luck finding it but I once saw a video on break.com or some similar site where Kelsey is on stage giving some sort of speach to a school or something and out of nowhere he falls right off the stage. He goes down so fast so at first, it just looks like he disappears. Anyway, it's hilarious!

PS: Found it... http://www.videovat.com/videos/574/frasier-stage-fall.aspx

Dunno about Frasier, never watched any. Love Cheers tho, collected all the dvds upto Season 6 so far, 7 & 8 should be on their way for Xmas. Think I will add Frasier to my LoveFilm queue and give it a go...

It gets worse. I'm planning on going to the Cheers theme bar in London next week!

It is probably the fact that I am mentally scarred...I got my first tv in my bedroom when Cheers was in its first run around Season 7 here in the UK, I immediatly had a crush on Kirsty Alley. Still have, but only as she was then, not in her Veronicas Closet days!

Must get out more...:D

Frasier was funny when it was first on, but it doesn't age well at all.

Still, I was at a class the other day where we talked about interpreters and it made me remember the funniest scene in the history of Frasier, involving four people interpreting in sequence.
