Kerry ranks last for likability for 2008 candidates!
My ex-professor mentioned he's rooting for a Gore/Obama ticket. I think that would be interesting. Gore might be my guy now that Warner's outta the running. I'll have to see all my options once 2007 rolls around.

It's funny how we all have this positive feeling toward Obama as a candidate. I mean, why? Other than profiling.
I've read precisely two interviews with him, and he seemed just fine for a junior politician, but that's about it. Is it just that he seems unspoiled? Jeez -- is that enough?

I like his passion. He's very articulate and charismatic. When I hear him talk, I'm both impressed and charmed at the same time. Not to mention I agree with his platform.
I think he would be a good candidate since the boy is very good with words. Not wooden, can reach out to the people. Kerry wasn't able to do that, because he seemed too elite or whatever, even when he tried to seem salt-of-the-earth military. Obama has heart. It's very important HOW people react to what he's saying and not just rely on his message. It needs to be both a message people can embrace, plus a politician they can connect with. I think Obama has that. He's still young though, so a VP ticket may work for him and he could run for Prez a little further down the line.
