my hamster is dying

shes just really old, 2 years now, and starting last night she started to lose function of her limbs, and she feels stone cold all over, and when she tries to move she's all jerky like a zombie and her back legs just kinda drag, and shes reduced to just skin and bone just overnight and her breathing is super laboured

she was really quiet this morning, and not moving a whole lot, but shes still alive

its just horrible to watch, and I couldnt make myself stop watching her death throes last night and then I had to go to work this morning when all i wanted to do was hold her in her lil hammy blankie

Oh I'm so sorry! :(
I had a few hamsters when I was still in school and it was always so sad to lose them. My last hamster (Stefan-Christian-Oliver) had to be euthanized, because he hurt himself in his little wheel. He had some internal bleedings in his brain and was really shaky. It was so sad. So, I really feel for you. I'm really sorry!

she finally died

she got over her horrible sickness, but i think she had some kind of stroke because she hastn been functional since the intial sickness

she went through a horrible phase where blood would seep out of her nose each time she breathed

but she finally slipped away this morning, Ive been keeping her at my parents house just cause my mom could be home all day to watch her

I need to go bury her now
