stupid cops

So this morning at about 3am, I was standing on my porch having a smoke. These two hoodlums come running and stop right on my sidewalk.

An unmarked cruiser came and 2 cops jumped out of it and grabbed the 2 guys and started asking them questions and such.

Then one of the hoodlums said, "We were running because there's a guy with a gun chasing us, he's that way" and pointed into a direction.

The cops were all like, "really? shit, we better go get him" and they BOTH got back in the car and drove in reverse to find the said gunman.

The 2 hoodlums then snickered and ran off.

Seriously, that's very stupid of the cops. One of them should have stayed with the hoodlums while the other went to find the so called gunman.

wow what a bunch of freaking idiots. Once when I was little I was skating at a place where were not supposed to - and the cops came so we bolted (and I was no older than 12 or 13) and eventually they caught up to me and my friend and I got tossed against the hood of the car, and she took my thumbs and bent them all the way back almost to the breaking point.
talk about police brutality.

(Most) cop's suck these days, they either abuse their power or they dont use it at all.

I live right across the street from Queens College. Every house on this block has a porch. I've even got a little fenced in back yard. I do mean little though. Very little.

Man I almost got into a fight with a cop at the barber shop today....I go to a spot where I"m the only non-black person there cus they do the best fades. Anyway this dude who's all goofy lookin wearing a stretched out v-neck white t and some crappy sweats sits down directly across from me while I'm in the chair and just starts staring at me like really hard...

At first I think that maybe he's just interested in cutting hair and is watching the barber do his thing....not the case. He's staring hard right at me looking me directly in the eye. So I make eye contact cus usually that makes people stop staring. He didn't so I'm like "Dude! You're creepin me out what are you staring at? You think I"m cute or something??!"

He says some shit I say some shit nothing really that bad but then after he walks next door my barber is like "Hey you know that dudes a cop right, I don't even like cuttin hair for the police but I hafta" so I figure I'll get some random parking tickets or something now

I just can't stand cops. There was a time in my hometown during the winter and a guy was riding a snow mobile through the city. Yeah it's illegal. Anyway, a cop started chasing him in his cruiser.

It was a bad winter, the streets would get plowed just to fill up with snow again 5 mins later. The guy on the snowmobile went outsitde of the city limits- out of the cop's juristiction(sp) and the cop still followed the guy forcing cars to go out of control and into the ditch because they had to swerve to avoid both the cop and snowmobile.

Kinda sorta...I was in the chair with the mirror/barber behind me and I was facing the chairs where people wait and he was like directly across from me...

I think I stayed near there in 2001! It was with my friend's friend who she no longer sees though so I have no idea.

I haven't yet. It seems like some of these NY cops are cool and keep to themselves but, I really haven't been here to notice enough.

I did however see one of them kinda getting out of line on 34th. He was yelling at some guy who had his truck parked in the street trying to put his kid in the backseat.

I'm not sure what it was all about but the cop was saying, "when I come back here, you'd better be gone" in a hostile voice.

The guy was saying, "I'm putting my kid away and I'll be gone".

The cop said, "I aint trying to hear that, just be gone"

As said, I'm not sure what the ordeal was but, the cop's tone was uncalled for with a guy that had his kid with him.
