I really wanted to care - just because you said that.

I kind of do.

Good work! This is all kind of related to that "putting it all on the line" thread from a while back - right?

don't really care, but, fuck, your pay has doubled? geez.

Im really glad to read all your threads about how good things are going for you. the pic of you in the suit was like icing on top of a cake.

I'm so gay, but, good stuff (y)

Thanks :) I don't really get time to post much here at the moment, and I feel sometimes these threads may seem a little self absorbed, but really it's like my celebration. As sad as that is. Anyway, yeah I wear business atire now (y) It's good. I feel good about it all. Last night I would've said the opposite, but now that the bank has approved me, and I've also found a really nice little unit in my quiet little home neighbourhood, which I think I have a good chance of getting, things are looking better. I always said I'd never buy a place while I'm single, but that shit's not changing so I'm going it alone. It's stressing me out hard but at the same time I'm happy.

auction is less than 24 hours away.

to say i'm nervous would be an understatement. i'm shitting myself over this. i've only ever been to a couple of auctions in my life, let alone bid at one

I'm actually more prepared not to get it than I am to get it. I mean I won't be too disappointed if I don't get it. I'll be wrapped if I do, but I'm not expecting that I will. I have a feeling it's going to go out of my price range. It may not either. The whole process is fairly simple I guess, but still, doing all this alone is fucking stressful. And then on top of that I've been working far too much lately, like, wake up, work, work work work, go to bed. It's all self driven, I want to have this new system up and running before the start of next year, so I need to go hard, but still it's killing me. I gave myself the afternoon off today to get out of the office and do something, anything but work, but now no one wants to do anything so it looks like it'll be an exciting afternoon of watching movies, playing video games and eating junk food

No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no there's no limit!

tracky

It went for about $20,000 over my limit. Technically I could afford it but it wasn't worth that much to me. I did put in an couple of bids, but I wasn't expecting to get it anyway. It's all good, was a good experience and now at least I've got all the balls rolling so I can start seriously looking

Buying property in a capitalistic country is the surest way to stay on the hamster wheel. All you need is kids now and you're set for the next 30 years. (y)
