I guess the hater in me always ignored Lyrics Born, having heard his name a million times but never really checkin his shit out, maybe because his name rubs me the wrong way or who knows, but I finally heard some of his material in homeboy's car a coupla nights ago and, well, I'm really kicking myself in the ass. Literally, my knee joint is abnormally bending backwards and uncontrollably feeding my booty swift, enthusiastic round-house kicks at an uncontrollable pace. I mean, all I heard was like the first 6 or 7 tracks from his first solo record, but the beats, though not necessarily groundbreaking or overtly original, were bangin', and his vocals complemented them nicely. Any fans up in here that can give me a little cliff-note/"lyrics born for dummies" summary of a good place to start as to his catalogue?
