If there's 1000 bad things I've encountered in this world, 999 of them are associated with Nickleback. Jesus, this band sucks. I had a boss who was all up their ass, he was training me to run a pub, so during lock-ins he'd blare the shit out over the system.

I know it's not the freshest topic, but I'm surprised I've had this long to hate them.

I saw him in person a few years ago when I was at the Cross. No idea what he was doing there but I remember being very disappointed that he was the only vaguely famous person in the VIP section. They had nice comfy seats though. He was horrible looking and his girlfriend kept shoving her arse in my friend Becca's face. She had serious words. That was the highlight of the night

Anyways, I'm just saying that there were some people around here who kinda liked Nickelback before they broke big, but once they were everywhere, they stopped.

I failed to find anything special about them when they were a small band ripping off grunge songs. I never would have thought they'd become as big as they became. You just wouldn't have seen it. Hell, you can't see it today either.

At the risk of sounding like a music snob, why don't Nickelback fans hear this exact-sameness? Is it because they aren't really listening to what's on their iPods i.e. the music they download is just for their personal "sonic wallpaper" while they work in their cubicles?
