or (a bit of a reach) Prince and the Revolution (the Revolution had alot of influecne, mainly Wendy and Lisa on the classics 1999, Parade and Purple Rain and orgianlly Sigh O the Times before Prince shelved most of the OG tracks to spite them)

I think the Everly Brothers were very significant in their day. I still enjoy a lot of their earliest songs. You can see how The Beatles were heavily influenced by them too.

just downloaded death by sexy. everything from these desert sessions fuckers is top notch. i wish i had discovered this close nit group of artist years ago. i think someone suggested this band to me a while ago and i laughed at them because of the name. what a way to judge a book by it's cover.
