An open letter signed by Phyllis Schlafly, head of the conservative Eagle Forum, and 17 other less prominent figures, most from anti-abortion groups, contended "If Senator Obama cannot defend the most helpless citizens in our country, he has nothing to say to the AIDS crisis. You cannot fight one evil while justifying another."
Yay! I'm so excited to see Schlafly out there making comments. I was thinking about her a couple of weeks ago. I thought the old crone was dead.

Yeah, she's always been a dumbass.
I looked her up. She's in her 80s now. She's my favorite right wing nut from back in the day because I wrote a satirical paper about her in college.
i wonder if i'll feel the same way about valvano when he's 80
