i find with wine hangovers they are a dependent a lot on the price of said wine. drink good wine, the chances are you'll feel better.

we had had our christmas dinner flat party thingy one year and all our guests had gone out so hey, what's to do? so me and ranald decided to have a bath cos, you know, s'all good bayyybeeee with red wine. ranald is my boyfriend btw. not just a mate or anything. haha. anyway, i had drank so much cheapo vin rouge that 5 minutes into said bath i was all "um. GET OUT OF THE BATH RIGHT NOW I THINK I AM GOING TO SPEW" and i swear, i have never seen that man move so quickly. hahahaha! imagine! someone vomiting all over you in the bath! :eek: thankfully crisis was averted and he could witness the really sexy sight of me spewing in the toilet dripping wet naked. yeah brah, that's love.

one good thing about doing your friends is you don't have to try to impress them in the morning. he gave me a ride home and I was babbling about putting emotion-responsive ectoplasm in the office of a tow lot (we had been talking about our experiences with cars being towed). and he was like, "what the fuck are you talking about, retard?" and I just started cracking up like a doofus. and he was like, "wait, are you talking about slimer?" and then we both laughed so hard.

cheap alcohol has a higher level of methanol which gives you a hangover coz it's alot harder for the liver to break down than ethanol. and wine's usually the worst when it comes to methanol levels. Cheap vodka's the same, it's a bad culprit. Lesson, stay away from cheap red plonk

Yeah, we split a shitty bottle of red wine ($10 merlot) and then we split a bottle of fancy red French wine that my friend got for her birthday and never opened (12.5%). And then we split a bottle of champagne.

And then I had some Miller Lite. :(

last night i had 3 Cocaine Ladies and passed out :(

i haven't drunk wine since my schoolies week. before exams we'd decided to have a challenge called Sack Sunday where we each had to finish a 4 litre goon sack. i got about 3 litres down and then the rest ended up in the bath tub. after that, a bottle of midori and some illicit subtances i had the worst hangover of my life. the guys i was staying with had to tell me half the shit i forgot about. some very good :cool: but some very very bad.

ps, that amount of wine makes it hard for a man to function downstair :(

A wine hangover is almost as bad as a blackberry mead hangover, which laid me out pretty much all day yesterday. It's the sugar that really does you in. Stay hydrated, Tylenol probably isn't going to do anything.

the worst drunken vomiting incident ever in my life was as a result of wine. my friend's dad was so excited that i liked wine that he kept opening expensive bottle after expensive bottle. so, it wasn't so much the value of the wine that made me sick as it was the amount of wine he and i drank. i know we finished 3 bottles and had opened a 4th, but i don't recall whether we drank all of that and opened a 5th, or what. i just recall being violently ill and then wanting to die the entire next day.

i was drinking last night and felt fine today, but i didn't want to be getting up at 9:30 to make DINNER. stupid pot roasts. bobby had it worse though -- he didn't nap when he got home from work yesterday (he gets up at 5am and gets home from work around 3), and then he and i were up until about 2:30. he pretty much came, fell backwards, and passed out. then i had to put his boxers on him and reposition him on the bed. after taking photos, of course.
