1. 3 other guys and I went for a bachelor party binge.
2. It cost us each $333 for RT airfare from Seattle & 2 nights stay @ the Paris Hotel (25th floor with view)
3. Went to a goofy Topless show @ the Riveria
4. Went to a great Comedy show @ the Tropicana
5. Gambled, lost, saw nobody win in the dozen or so Casino's we went to.
6. That town is always under construction
7. That town is really fucking cool looking
8. Girls Girls Girls everywhere looking great and actually coming on to us!
9. Ate at the Paris Buffet one night then the Aladdin Buffet the next, both kick ass.
10. I am through with the booze, but my traveling friends stayed ripped the whole trip. It just makes sense.
11. Prince is plastered all over the strip now that he's playing the Rio.
12. Am going back in February for a few shows and a camera workout.

Sounds like you had a great time. I wouldn't go to gamble because I'm just not lucky at all. The first time I came near gambling was I bought $20 in scratch offs and didn't win squat so, I figured it's not for me.

Going there with a camera sounds like a great idea.

So do you ever go to the strip? Every taxi driver we talked with says the same thing, nobody who lives in Vegas goes to the strip.

Plus jaywalking is a $200 fine and you could get shot on sight for watering the lawn.

I just stayed near the strip last Sunday just for the hey of it, but that's rare. We mostly go to the strip if we have visitors to entertain or for a concert/show.

It's silly to have a lawn anyway.

I will be going here (http://www.pieroscuisine.com/history.htm) tonight for a Christmas party, probably won't go near the strip again til New Years.

Eventually a trip to Las Vegas will take me just a little bit longer than a trip to Chicago takes me right now... which means I might be going on a not-so-regular basis... but I'll still go every once in a while just for the hell of it.

I was thinking about flying out there for spring break, but none of the flights are as cheap as everyone makes them out to be. Maybe my idea of cheap and everyone else's ideas of cheap just don't line up either... but hotels don't seem super cheap either. Bastards.

When I was in Vegas to see Beasties, I never even drove down the strip. How odd is that?

I saw the casinos from the airport runway though.

I think the Strip on Las Vegas is perhaps the worst place to Gamble on the planet. I've only been to Vegas 3 times, but the previous 2 times I went down usually someone hit a jackpot or something big was happening on the floor, this last trip had nothing but a lot of quiet long faces.

Next trip I'll smoke me some cigars eat some cheap food and take pictures, plus gonna see Prince and a few other shows. NO GAMBLIN'

I don't know if it's still true, but it used to be that if you went downtown you got some good hardcore blackjack playing.

I need to go back to Vegas then. For that, and LOVE.
