seems like good news i guess, but you can never be sure now. i think her amount of cancer cells has gone down, and she's responded well to treatment. she's not in remission yet (they wouldn't say anyway) but i think she's better. she's still getting stem cells later on.
my reaction to this is weird. i suppose i have been so used to the trauma of having a cancer sufferer in the family it doesn't evoke a huge emotional response in me anymore. i can't even tell you how much i hope she goes into remission and this is the last we hear of it. but you know, it's bone marrow cancer and that's a particularly insidious one. she needs to get better soon. and get walking properly again. the fact that she's acted so happy has kinda kept us from feeling the full brunt of the truth.
